God Seeks Those Who Worship Him in Spirit and Truth

Yesterday, we learned that God seeks those who worship Him in Spirit and truth. In Today's verse, Jesus continues to give the reason God seeks those to worship Him in Spirit and truth. God is Spirit!! This verse reinforces the spiritual nature of God, underscoring that worship must be conducted in a manner consistent with His divine nature.

God, being Spirit, requires worship that is not just physical but deeply spiritual and true to His nature. This means that our worship cannot be superficial or merely ceremonial; it must engage our entire being—heart, mind, and soul—fully devoted to God. For us, this is a call to examine our motives and the authenticity of our worship, ensuring that it is not just an outward show but a true expression of our faith and devotion to God.

Worship in Spirit and truth aligns us with God's word and will and draws us closer to Him. Today, reflect on how you engage in worship. Ensure that it is both a spiritual and truthful practice, fostering a deeper connection with God.
