Welcome to Close to Him Ministry's Daily Spiritual Food. For the next few months on DSF, we will be feeding our souls with some profound sayings of Jesus in the Gospel, according to John, and today's spiritual food is taken from;
John 3:3 - "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
In this verse, Jesus speaks to Nicodemus about the necessity of being "born again" to see the kingdom of God. This rebirth isn't physical but a spiritual transformation that occurs when we obey the Gospel and are baptized. As the Bible teaches, baptism symbolizes this new birth, washing away our sins and allowing us to walk in the newness of life. It is a profound transformation, signifying a complete renewal of the heart and mind, leaving behind the old self and emerging as a new creation in Christ.
As we walk in this new life, we are called to reflect the image of Christ in our daily actions, ensuring that our faith is not just a matter of words but of a lived experience in obedience to God's will. As you meditate on this verse, reflect on your own spiritual journey. Have you experienced this rebirth through baptism? If not, we encourage you to seek to understand its significance and consider taking this step toward a new life in Christ.
Thank you for feeding your soul with Today's spiritual food. God richly bless you, and see you tomorrow for another edifying food!
